The speaker yesterday was Frank Bayford and his subject was Norfolk. We've been waiting some time for this return visit by Frank as he had to cancel previous sessions due to sickness, but as always, he was certainly worth waiting for.
Frank took us on a tour of some small North Norfolk villages with lots of his splendid photographs. He is very good at spotting anything unusual or quirky, and when he finds something out of the ordinary, he makes sure to investigate the story behind it, which makes for a fascinating journey. Not only do we get interesting views of Norfolk villages, architectural details and unusual artefacts, but also little nuggets of British and local history - some of it very strange indeed!
So many thanks to Frank for a very entertaining afternoon!
