Both Susan and Earl are artists, and everywhere we looked we could see their work set among the flowers and foliage and under the trees. Their studio was full of beautiful ceramics as well as some wonderful little sculptures that Earl had done of Phoebe their dog.
There were little ponds with enormous Koi carp, a pagoda with a chandelier and a life-size dancing figure, and a shady little Tea House with comfy seats offering respite from the heat outside. There was so much to see and then to round it off, there was tea and coffee with Earl's delicious cakes! We'd heard about these cakes when they came to talk at one of our meetings, and they certainly didn't disappoint!
It was a lovely afternoon and many thanks to Susan and Earl for making it such an enjoyable experience!
